Do you know the difference between a head shot photography session and a branding photography session?
While the terminology can often get confusing the best way to assess your needs is to know what you want from your photography session.
So what's the difference?
A Head shot photography session
A head shot photography session is usually a quick session with the goal being to get you an image or 2, usually head and shoulders, for you to use as a profile picture, on your website and maybe on your business or marketing materials. These sessions are great for teams that need a consistent look or individuals that just need an up to date image and don't have a lot of time. The purposes of a headshot image is to let people know what you look like and share a bit of your personality!
A Branding photography session
A branding photography session is different. This is usually a much longer session with the goal to create several images of you in various scenarios and looks, this means we go to different locations, you change clothing and you are doing different things. This session is to create content for your social media and website. These images can be used in several formats like books, brochures or catalogues as well. It's creating content that is strictly for you and your company. The images tell a story and help your clients identify you and your brand and what you stand for!
I hope this has helped to distinguish the difference and I'd love to help you no matter what your need! Let's chat!
