A few months ago I had a woman who had been referred to me inquire about a branding portrait. She loved what I did but was shocked when I told her the cost! When I asked her what she was expecting a portrait session to be she said she hadn't thought about it. A few weeks went by and I got back in touch with her.  She let me know that she had found a cheaper photographer but she didn't like the images much. She booked a session based on price and not on what she liked.

There is a lot of choice when it comes to photography but you need to remember you're not hiring someone who has a camera. You're hiring someone who can bring out the best in you and your vision! As a photographer my job is not to simply push a button - almost anyone can indeed do that! What you hire me for is my ability to make you feel awesome in front of my camera! To help you convey your message to your audience and to make you feel beautiful, powerful and amazing!

It's important to remember a camera takes a picture but it's the photographer that creates it! For this reason, and many more, photographers are not interchangeable. Every photographer has their style and level of experience. Each photographer has their way of interpreting what they see in front of them, it's amazing when I go out with other photographers how nobody sees the same scene the same way even when using the same equipment! I can't be any other photographer because the way I view the world, my journey in photography and my life lessons is different than other photographers.
